Maria Antonia Campos

Maria A. Campos left to be with the Lord on March 8, 2019 after a lengthy illness, surrounded by family. She was lovingly cared for by her daughter, Yolanda Hernandez for the past 3 years. She was born in San Antonio, Tx on February 3, 1940.

Maria's loved her children and grandchildren. She loved going on excursions with the kids including camping, hiking, Schlitterbahn and just hanging with the grandkids.

She is survived by her children, Anna Maria Sanchez (Bill), Robert Sandoval (Annette), Donna Sandoval, Yolanda Hernandez, Diana Ponce, her sisters, Teresa Mandujano, Alice Pena, brothers, Tom Castillo and Richard Castillo. Grandchildren, Elijiah Rios, Noe Rios (Adam Lauer), Robert C. Sandoval, Nathaniel L. Garcia, Melissa A. Marin, Nicole Stone (David), Hannah Ponce, Great Grandchildren, Solstice Ibarra-Campos, Anna Rios, Penelope and Oliver Stone, and Kaylee N. Garcia, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Eduardo Campos, her parents, Beatrice and Tomas Castillo and her nephew Matthew Castillo.

Services will take place at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera road. Visitation and viewing will take place on Monday, March 18th, from 6:00 pm to 8:00pm. A service and celebration will take place on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 2:00 pm
