Louise Cartier, age 85, native and resident of Satsuma, AL. passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Cartier, son, Tony Ryals (Darlene), parents, Corrie and Cloy Davis and brother, Ore (Marty) Davis.
Mrs. Cartier is survived by her children; Tammy (Steve) Silcox, Terry Ryals and Walt Ryals. She is also survived by her step-children; Jerome and Rodney Cartier. She was a wonderful grandmother of 15 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 25.
Louise was a life-long resident of Satsuma. She was an active member of Satsuma First Baptist Church where she enjoyed serving in the nursery, mom's day out, food committee, Sunday School and Helping Hands. She was a graduate of Vigor High School in 1953 and spent her life as a loving mother and homemaker.
Visitation will be held Satsuma First Baptist Church on Monday, May 3, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 Noon in the sanctuary. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saraland, AL
Serving as pallbearers will be: Cory Silcox, Easton Ward, Eric Ward, Avery Humbarger, Chris Perryman, Scott Myers and Todd Myers.
