Eileen Benvenuto (nee Kutler) passed away peacefully on March 27, 2021 surrounded by her family. Eileen was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Staten Island 45 years ago. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Eileen was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Benvenuto. She is survived by her son Ron (Carolyn) and daughter Lori Benvenuto and 2 grandchildren: Richard and Jane Benvenuto. Eileen was a homemaker and a valued employee for her neighborhood Waldbaums for over 30 years. Customers and fellow employees enjoyed her friendly disposition. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Eileen could always be found at her grandson’s baseball games and granddaughter’s theater performances. She was their biggest fan. It was always great to see Aunt Eileen. She made us laugh and had a great sense of humor. We made her laugh telling stories of yesteryear. May you rest in peace and sympathy to Ron and family and cousin Lairiry.

Dear Ron, Lori and family,
It’s a time of great sorrow and my heartfelt condolences to your family. I’ve lost my dearest and best friend of over 40 years. We had the best of times and shared the worst of times. We laughed and cried together. We spoke on the phone every day and I remember my son asking me “what do you have to say to each other every single day”? I don’t remember but conversation was always there. When I moved to Florida we met in NYC for shows and dinner. When I visited Staten Island I called Eileen first thing. I’m here, I would say, and we both laughed with happiness! I miss you my friend and you will always remain in my heart.
