Martial Andrew Bandemer Sr.

Martial Andrew Bandemer, age 85, of Darien, Illinois passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Martial was born July 3, 1936 in Chicago, IL. Long time resident of Stickney, Martial is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Louise [nee Sinople]. Martial is also survived by his sons Martial Andrew Jr. (Jean) and Gary; his grandsons Kevin (Amanda) and Eric (Tara); his great-grandchildren Eisley, Silas, Everly, and Charlie; and his brother Marat Jr. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Martial proudly served in the United States Air Force for four years starting in 1953. In that time he was stationed overseas in both Africa and France. Martial was a hard worker with a long career in sales. He traveled doing sales for 14 years with a service area that spread many states from Chicago to the Carolinas. Above all, Martial was an amazing man who will be truly missed. A visitation for Martial will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Pius X, 4300 S. Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402. A graveside service will follow at Mount Auburn Cemetery, 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402.
