Benjamin Paul Danner

Mr. Benjamin Paul Danner, age 82, of Stockbridge, GA, passed away on Wednesday morning, June 7, 2017, at Rockdale Medical Center.

Ben was born in Sparta, TN, on August 14, 1934, to loving parents, the late Mr. Benjamin Clay Danner and Mrs. Jessie Marie Danner. Retiring from cattle farming and working the hay fields, he enjoyed providing for his family through public jobs as well. He had been with "Fotomat" for many years and he was proud of his contribution on the C5A cargo plane at Lockheed, Marietta, GA. Joining the Army in 1957 as a supply handler for four years, he was recognized for good conduct.. Mr. Danner enjoyed travel, fishing and was an ambitious treasure hunter.

In addition to his parents, Ben is preceded in death by one daughter, Janice Maria Danner-Thomas; one grandson, Brett Marsh; and one sister, Barbara Smith.

He is survived by a loving wife, Judy Danner of Stockbridge, GA and two daughters, Rhonda Marsh of Stockbridge, GA and Angela Danner of Hiram, GA; also sister, Donna Sherryl Noble (EB); grandchildren, Andrew Marsh, Curtis Bockerstette, Shanda Thomas, Carie B. Poy and Shaun Thomas. Several other relatives and friends also survive.

The funeral service for Mr. Danner will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at 2:00 PM, at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home-Fairview Chapel with Rev. Andy Postell officiating. Interment will be held at Horis A. Ward, Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge, GA.

The family will receive friends at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 1:00 PM.
