Thomas A. Steccato of Chestnut Ridge died December 5, 2012 at age 80. Born March 28, 1932 in Bronx, NY to Pasquale and Natalie Steccato. He was a retired Building Inspector for the NYC Department of Housing and a member of Parents Without Partners. Survived by his beloved companion Gloria Wander, loving grandchildren Stephanie and Jason Elliot, cherished great grandchildren Thomas, Hannah and Gianna and a caring sister Rosemarie Vellines (Ed). Predeceased by his daughter Christine Elliot. Visitation Saturday Morning from 9-11am at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home 177 Route 59 in Suffern. Funeral Service Saturday 11am at the funeral home followed by an interment at Ascension Cemetery.
