Janet Alyce Gerome passed away on May 23, 2026, after bravely facing multiple health issues. Janet was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend. She is survived by her three children: Susan (Bruce), Lynn (Duke), and Robert (Lori). She was the proud grandmother of five, great-grandmother of 11 and two great-great grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured each deeply.
Janet was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Jerry, as well as her father, mother, sister, and many dear relatives.
For 40 years, Janet served as dedicated nurse. Caring for others was not just her profession, it was her calling. She devoted her life to helping those in need, both in her career and within her own family. Janet was often the steady presence during times of illness or hardship, selflessly caring for relatives and loved ones as they aged or faced health challenges. Her compassion, strength and quiet resilience left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
After a lifetime of giving and caring for others, it is finally time for Janet to rest and be reunited with Jerry.
