Ronald 'Rocco' Felix DiPenta

Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Rocky and Janet (MacDonald) DiPenta.

Rocco was a veteran with the Royal Canadian Army. He worked as a Regional Sales Director of Frito Lay & Humpty Dumpty Food Company until his retirement in 1999. Rocco was active in the community with the KOC, UCT and the Whitney Pier Historical Society.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary “Micka” (Rozicki). He also leaves behind his son and best friend Karl (Glenda) of Sydney, son Curt of Sydney, daughter Mich of Winnipeg, sister Theressa of New York and three grandchildren, one great grandson and other relatives and many friends.

Besides his parents, Rocco was predeceased by his brother Mike, sister Carolyn, mother in law Helen (Rozicki).

There will be no visitation as per his request. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at St. Mary’s Polish Church, 21 Wesley St., with Fr. Dennis Lamey officiating.
