Roy moved to Nova Scotia in 1992, he published a book in 2006, graduated from college and went on to work at the Louisburg fish plant, then on to Public works for the Wagmatcook First Nation.
Roy was easy going, had many friends and loved to make new ones. He loved cooking, BBQing, cruising, selfies, boxing, and was a good sport in any event. Roy enjoyed counselling youths, and quality time with his family, he respected and loved his uncle and aunties, especially his uncle Freddy Johns.
Roy leaves behind his wife Colleen Francis, sons; Randon Francis and Trenton Tontarelli, his siblings Victor, Brian, Regina and Armando Tontarelli.
A visitation will start at 7pm on Saturday December 5, 2020 at 5 Rockmaple Dr. in Eskasoni, a funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday December 7, 2020 at Holy Family Church with Fr.
