Kay WoodSylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Kay Wood, 75, will be Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Tommy Strickland and Dr. Steve Heartsill officiating.  Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.Mrs. Wood was a member of Five Points Baptist Church and was retired from Avondale Mills. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Wood, and her grandson, Brandon Keith Wood.She was the loving mother of three sons, Perry Wood, wife Debbie, of Childersburg, Greg Wood, wife Deb, of Antioch, CA, and Mickey Wood, wife Kim, of Sylacauga.  She is also survived by her brother, Ralph Deputy, wife Aljean, of Lakewood, CO; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, David Wood, wife Jeanette, of Sylacauga and Jim Wood, wife JoAnn, of Sylacauga; sister-in-law, Jane Jones, husband Danny, of Aiken, SC. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.The family will accept flowers or contributions to the "Brandon Keith Wood Memorial Account" at The University of Kentucky Federal Credit Union, 2557 Sir Barton Way, Lexington, KY 40509.  All donations will benefit baby Cameron.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
