Maxie H. Roessler

Mass of Christian Burial for Maxie Henry Roessler, 82, of Seaton will be held at 10:00 AM Friday May 31, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Ranjan Cletus officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery at Westphalia.

Mr. Roessler died Sunday in a Temple Hospital.

Mr. Roessler was born September 6, 1941 in Westphalia to Martin Roessler and Helen Fuchs Roessler. He attended Westphalia School and graduated from Lott High School. He married Royella Alston June 15, 1974. She preceded him in death March 1, 2019. He was a musician and started playing when he was seventeen years old and continued playing until a few months ago. He had played for Bill Henderson and The Sundowners. He also owned and operated Sky Watch Satellite Systems.

Survivors include one son Jason Henry Roessler and his wife Amanda of Salado; one daughter Becky Roessler-Mahan and her husband Tony of Temple; grandchildren Christopher Zavodny and his wife Jennifer, Julia Zavodny, Camden Herrmann and Kaylee Herrmann.

Visitation will be from 5 pm to 6 pm Thursday with Rosary being recited at 6 pm at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
