Jean Ann Pierro

Jean Pierro (formerly Jean Niznik / Prairie) aged 79, passed away at the Brandley Hospice House in Summerfield, FL on January 28, 2017. Jean grew up in Chicopee, MA. In 1993, Jean was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Niznik. In 1996, Jean married and is survived by her spouse, Deacon Angelo Pierro. In 2014, they relocated to Belleview, FL to be near their church, St. Paul Parish. Jean was the third of five children of the late Armand and Evelyn (Surprenant) Praire. Jean was preceded in death by her brother, Armand (Skip) Prairie. Jean is also survived by her brother Joseph Prairie and sisters, Eleanor (Prairie) Putnam and Sandra (Prairie / Berthiaume) Blake. Jean is survived by her children, Debra Niznik, Rev. Mark and Valda Niznik, and Donna (Niznik) and Carl Sittard, and her grandchildren, Megan Finn-Niznik and Michael, Lauren, and David Sittard. Jean is also survived by her stepchildren, Gerard and Jayne Pierro, Ken and Diana Pierro (step-grandchildren Kenny and Gillian), Jeff (step-granddaughter Jackie) and Tammy Pierro, and Robert and Sandra Pierro.
