Amber Elizabeth Wilbanks

A resident of this area most of her life, Amber was born on January 7, 1985 in New Orleans, LA, a daughter of Rodney Zenas Wilbanks, Sr. and Pamela Annette Haynes Wilbanks. She was a graduate of Trinity High School and a proud UNC Tar Heels fan. Amber enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, spending time with her family, and most of all, being a loving mother to her daughter, Madison.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Pam Wilbanks and maternal grandfather, Charles Haynes.

Surviving are her father, Rodney Zenas Wilbanks, Sr. of Trinity; her daughter, Madison Todd of the home; brother, Rodney Zenas Wilbanks, Jr. and wife Stacy of Thomasville; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Haynes of Asheboro; niece, Kailey Wilbanks; nephew, Austin Matulevic; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of Amber’s life will be held at 2pm Sunday, March 25 in the chapel of Thomasville Funeral Home with Dr. E. Keith Carroll officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
