Our daughter Debbie was the first one to accept me as a stepmother. She welcomed me into her family immediately, although married when Don and got married, she became a best friend and a listener. She confided to me many things that were on her mind, she was a bingo partner with me at times and fought to catch the biggest fish when we went camping or just up to Estes Park to catch trout. Always in competition to beat Dad and many times did. Debbie was a loving caring daughter, mother, grandmother and friend. She supported anyone that needed help, gave her siblings support and especially her daughters and grandchildren. Her memories will will live in all of our hearts forever and she is free from pain and in the presence of God and Jesus and fishing with Dad again - I love you so very much Debbie give dad a huge kiss from me and we will see you again when God brings the rest of us home

Hi mama. I still can't believe that you are gone. I miss our daily talks and dinner. Saying have A good evening and I love you before you left for work. I have grown so much in the past 5 years being back at home. You were always there with A hug, shoulder to cry on, a kind word or just to listen to me vent. You are my hero, mom, mentor, best friend and so much more. I wish you were here to say I love you or hug one more time. But I know you are not in pain anymore and I will see you again one day. REST IN PARADISE MAMA...

Mama I have so many memories of you that I really can't choose what one would be my favorite.. We didn't always see eye to eye.. But honestly what parent and child does.. I'm gonna miss being able to come to you for advise or a shoulder to cry when I needed it.. My heart aches for you but im at peace knowing you have your grandson in your arms now.. I love you mama.. Always and forever.. 💞💞

I remember that she CHEATED when it came to fishing. LOL
We went to St. Mary's Lake in Estes, and she decided to "double hook" her line that day. She felt the tug, set her hook ... and when she got it in ... there was 1 on the top hook (by the mouth) and one one the 2nd line (by the tail that she must have snagged when reeling in) WONDERFUL memory that ALWAYS makes me smile ... we were all so amazed.
So many wonderful memories .. but I think that one is my favorite.
