Passed away peacefully on April 6, 2011 in the St. Michael’s Hospital, Palliative Care Unit at the age of 98. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Margaret Porter and son Kevan Oxley. “Granny Kathleen” will also be sadly missed by her dear friend Kathy Dalton. She is predeceased by daughter Marylyn Pitimada.
Kathleen was extremely dedicated to various organizations throughout the years, including Alanon Family Groups and the Canadian Legion. Many heartfelt thanks to the healthcare workers of Fudger House and St. Michael’s Palliative Care, and the support of the Canadian Legion and St. Thomas’ Church.
Friends will be received on Friday, April 8 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel, 467 Sherbourne St. (south of Wellesley). Funeral Service will be held at St. Thomas’ Church, 383 Huron St. on Saturday, April 9 at 1 o’clock.
