Dayle Lucile Steffes, age 72 of Traverse City passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 at the Villa’s of Traverse City. Dayle was born on August 17, 1945 in Traverse City to Otto and Lois (Lardie) Steffes, and had lived her entire life in the Old Mission and Traverse City area.
Dayle had been a member of the North Orchard Adult Foster Care family for over 25 years. She had participated in the Special Olympics, was a huge baseball fan, and enjoyed watching bowling on TV.
She is survived by her 2 brothers Joseph (Jean) and Thomas (Debbra) Steffes, both of Traverse City. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dayle was preceded in death by both of her parents as well as a brother James.
A graveside service will be held at Ogdensburg Cemetery in the spring.
