Joanne Rice, 90, passed away February 27, 2017. She was born September 17, 1926 to Roy and Thelma Hughes. After marrying Joseph Rice in 1947, they moved to Tucson in 1950. Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; son, Robert and brother, Waymond. She is survived by son, Joseph Jr. (Debbie); daughter, Debbie (Norman) Warden; 3 grandsons, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. 1Nana touched us all with her love. We will surely miss her. Please join the family for a visitation on Tuesday, 3/7/2017 from 9:30 am – 10:30 am at Sabino Road Baptist Church, 2710 N. Sabino Canyon Rd. Tucson, AZ 85715. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 am with interment to follow back at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Tucson, AZ 85712.
