George Daniel Shelburne

March 18, 1940 ~ January 10, 2015

Dan Shelburne age 74, passed away on January 10, 2015 in Hughson, CA. Born March 10, 1940 in Pennington Gap, (South Western) Virginia, the son of the Late Silas Jackson and Gladys Opal (Snell) Shelburne. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Marlene, His Children; Rick Rocha of Denair, Randy and Charlene Rocha of Turlock, Richie and Sheila of Hughson and Lisa and Jay Bitts, his Grandchildren; Christopher and Samantha, Renette and Matt, Kimberly, Megan, Zachary, Ashley and Joey, Cherish and Trever, Vanessa, Deon and Austin, as well as 12 great grandchildren. He was an aficionado of fishing, computers and spectator auto racing. He served honorably in the United States Air Force and was a former member of the Modest Junior Chamber of Commerce. Services are as follows: Visitation is at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service Thursday, January 15th from 4:00pm to 8:00PM. Graveside Service is at San Joaquin National Cemetery in Santa Nella on Friday, January16th at 9:30am.
