To my Dearest Friends, The Jonas Family,

Thank you for sharing your Beautiful Mother, Barbara. I will forever treasure and cherish the fond memories of our friendship. Barbara, was a mentor and a friend. Her devoted love for her family, Jimmy and Jennifer was one I admired. Her Grandbabies were her pride and joy.

She always made room at her dining room table, and taught me how to make a great pot of coffee.

Her kindness, love and care was given freely to everyone she knew. Her wisdom, and advice , priceless.

I thank God for Barbara, May she rest in eternal peace. Heaven gained an Angel when they received Barbara.

A Grateful Friend,

We have lost an irreplaceable and empathetic soul, Barbara Jonas. This humble person was one of the richest people full of grace and love. Her ability to care for others was tireless and without complaint. She served as an example of humility and friendship.

There was not a person or pet that she would not help. She was selfless and opened her arms to those in need. She enjoyed the challenge of a good game, the twinkle of Holiday lights and a good cup of black coffee. Her home was a display of her heart. The pictures of Jennifer and Jimmy were surrounded by the unique treasures of her worldly travels and her newest year-round holiday clock.

She valued the people in her life and nothing meant more to her than her relationships. She loved God and her church community. She cherished her Skipbo group and the closeness of special neighbors and friends. Most of all she loved being a daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. She was infinitely proud of Jennifer and Jimmy and her kindness and love lives on through them.

Certainly not to be forgotten was the love she had for her furry companions. She is survived by her serenading chorus of Candy, Bree, Remus, Ramos, and Scrappy who no doubt has not left the front door; and Snowflake is waiting in a kitchen chair.

We will forever adore and remember you – we will hold on to one another a little tighter and know you are now watching over us – always loving.

I love you mom
