He was born in Cambridge, MA on April 14, 1933 to Antonio and Martha (Fulco) Caloggero. He was raised in Ipswich, MA by his grandmother, Catherine Caloggero and his Uncle Frank Caloggero upon his mother’s death.
He served actively in the U.S Navy for 4 years and reserve duty for another 4 years. He graduated Fitchburg State College of MA in 1975.
He was highly esteemed in his several career roles including Electrical Instructor at Shawsheen Valley Regional Technical High School in Billerica, Electrical Inspector for the Town of Bedford and most especially as Principal Electrical Specialist at the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Quincy, MA.
He married Margaret (Lehman) Drew on January 29, 1983 and they spent many happy years together.
He is predeceased by his parents, grandmother and grandson, Brandon Coutu.
Besides his wife, he is survived by children, Dino Caloggero, Tina Coutu, Lisa Caloggero and Chris Drew all of New Hampshire, John A (Rita) Caloggero and Philip Caloggero both of Tennessee, Wendy (Drew) Hoover and Scott (Susan) Drew of Virginia; Grandchildren, Roland (Hope) Coutu, Ryan Coutu, Paige Caloggero, Nicholas Caloggero, Christopher Drew, Kiana Drew all of New Hampshire, Amanda Day of Massachusetts, Jessica Hall and Kyle Biddle of S. Carolina, Chloe Drew and Anna Drew of Virginia; and Great-Grandchildren, Faith Coutu, Ava Coutu, Aaron Caloggero and Carter Caloggero of New Hampshire and Jay Hall of S. Carolina; Siblings, Filiph (Doris) Caloggero and Gloria Peretti of Massachusetts and Anthony (Charlene) Caloggero, Nevada; and great friend, Jeffrey (Harry) Harrington of Virginia.
