Thomas Patrick Middleditch

Thomas Patrick Middleditch, age 42 of Mt. Clemens, died June 13, 2019 at home. He was born December 1, 1976 in Detroit, son of Linda Marie (nee: Michael) Christoff, and the late Thomas Murray Middleditch.

For his line of work, Thomas chose the field of haircutting to help enhance the look and persona of his clients and bring a sense of style to their lives. Possessing an innate talent for working with hair, Thomas was a natural with his comb and shears. And speaking of style, it was quite the important aspect in Thomas’ life as well. Looking good,…smelling good,…and adding a bit of bling helped form the perfect triad when he was steppin’ out on the town. With his hair all coifed,…sportin’ a bit of his favorite cologne,…and a killer watch on his wrist, Thomas was ready to impress, and often did.

Another of Thomas’ notable mentions would have to be his passion for cooking breakfast. They say the first meal of the day is the most important, so Thomas did his utmost in bringing his own, unique flair to those breakfast bonanza’s he often created. He could work some incredible magic in the kitchen, and prepared countless “morning masterpieces” that got the day started right,…and healthy.

When he wasn’t cutting hair or preparing breakfast, you would often find Thomas enjoying one of his favorite pastimes,…fishing. There was just something special about casting his line out at a favorite fishing hole, then being enveloped by the peacefulness & serenity of those in-between times while waiting for the bobber to go under. Then the action began and his heart would flutter,…wondering if it was going to be “The Big One.” Always in search of that “story-teller,” Thomas simply basked in each and every chance he was afforded of enjoying the beauty of the outdoors.

A loving son, brother and uncle, Thomas leaves our presence far too soon, but not without imparting the best part of his heart to those he loved and cherished so much. May he, now, rest in peace.   

Thomas was the beloved son of Linda (Peter) Christoff, and the late Thomas. Dearest brother of Jessica Prather, Jason (Gussie) Middleditch, and Heather (Patrick) Christoff. Loving uncle of Annmarie, Chase, Caleb, Jaiden, and Logan.

Visitation for Thomas will be held Tuesday, June 18th from 3-9 pm, with a 7:30 pm Eulogy Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren.
