Rose Rosner, 95, lived a full life. She grew up in Warren as the daughter of Polish immigrants and sister to three brothers. She studied at the New England Conservatory of Music, performed for the USO in Washington DC, and although she spent her career working at the telephone company in Providence, her real passion was always for music.
Rose was kind-hearted, creative, curious, and funny. Her life was quiet but it was filled with love for her family, devotion to God, and the beautiful sounds of Chopin and Debussy as she played at her piano. She was compassionate above all else, and found empathy for animals and people alike.
Her memory lives on in her family: her son Mark Rosner, daughter-in-law Anne Marie Rosner, granddaughter Elizabeth Rosner and her husband Bacary Diatta, granddaughter Allison Rosner with her husband Sean Walsh, and great-grandchildren Emerson and Amara Walsh. Rose Rosner was a talented, loving, and vibrant woman whose 95 years on this earth will be celebrated and remembered.
Her Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 10:00 am in St. Mary of the Bay Parish, 645 Main St., Warren. Burial will be private. For directions and condolences, www.wilbur-romano.com.
