

Victoria (Carrozzella) Mangiafico, 81, of West Palm Beach, FL and formerly of Glastonbury, beloved wife of the late Rosario Mangiafico, passed away Sunday June 18, 2017. She was born December 13, 1935 in Hartford the daughter of the late Dominick and Christine (DiBella) Carrozzella. Victoria graduated from the Hartford Hospital School of Nursing and enjoyed her work as a Registered Nurse. In her later years Victoria enjoyed many hours volunteering at the hospital. Victoria was a devoted wife and mother. She always enjoyed time spent with her family. As her children were growing up she spent many hours at soccer and field hockey games, tennis matches and swim meets. She also enjoyed skiing with her family in both Canada and Stratton Mountain, VT. Each Christmas she loved to bake cookies for everyone. Victoria was a member of the 9 Holes Ladies Golf Clubs at Wethersfield Country Club and Goodwin Park Golf Course. She was active in the Hartford Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association, the Hartford Home Builders Auxiliary and was a member of Woodside Garden Club in Glastonbury. She and her husband enjoyed traveling together especially to the Home Builder Shows. In addition, Victoria was an avid walker and she loved to meet her friends at the gym each morning for a workout then enjoy a coffee and conversation afterwards. Victoria is survived by her two sons; Thomas Mangiafico and his wife Carla of East Hartford and Steven Mangiafico of The Colony, TX; her daughter, Christine Steiner and her husband Gregory of Brookfield; a brother, Donald Carrozzella of Glastonbury and five grandchildren Christopher and Matthew Mangiafico, Olivia, Samuel and Willem Steiner. Funeral services will leave Friday, June 23rd at 9 a.m. from the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Paul’s Church, 2577 Main Street, Glastonbury. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
