After a lengthy illness we regret to announce the passing of Jon on September 11, 2013 at the age of 67. Beloved husband and best friend to Susan (nee O’Neil). Cherished son of the late William and Helen Cooke. Dear bother to Bill (Virginia). Loving father of Jason (Sherilyn), Laura Cooke (Rupert Hitzig), and Kristen Stockford. Special Barmpa to Kailey, Farrah, Isabella, Eve, Quentin, Jack, Hudson, and Sean. Brother-in-law to Rick O’Neil (Jo-Anne), Nancy Brown and the late Leo Brown, and James O’Neil. A celebration of Jon’s life will take place at a later date. In memory of Jon, donations to The Juvenile Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
