After retiring from Air Canada he enjoyed winters in Texas, curling and playing slo-pitch. He especially loved biking with his buddies Ray and Wally. He loved tinkering in the garage, either building or fixing something.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 57 years, Verna; son Scott (Leona) and grandchildren Ruth and Iain; son Bruce (Petra) and grandchildren Duncan and Bryn (their mother Kathy); sister-in-law Lee Ormiston. Predeceased by his brother Doug. He was so proud of his sons.
Thanks to the staff and care givers at Oakview Place who took great care of Jim. A heartfelt thanks to the Teel family, who have been a great support.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. Interment will be held at a later date at Thomson “In the Park” Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard
