She was born in Manzanillo, Cuba—with her family hailing from the Canary Islands. She immigrated to Rochester, NY as a teenager, where her family began moving to in the 50’s.
She met her husband, Vincent, at a New Year’s gathering for 1962 & married on July 7th, 1962. They would have been married 60-yrs this July.
She was a doting wife & mother, that was always kind & sweet to everyone she met. She loved conversation with her family & friends whenever she had the opportunity.
She worked at General Circuits in Rochester, as an assembler—and always did quality work.
She moved to the Orlando, FL area in 1987 when her husband retired, to be close to her family—as most had moved to the area.
She lived the rest of her days here & welcomed a daughter-in-law & her sons (Nancyann, Evan & Grant) in 2009, and was blessed with a granddaughter, Lauren, in 2010–once her only child, George, finally married.
Her wishes were fulfilled & she had peace for the remainder of her days.
Alzheimer’s began to take hold in 2017 & finally took her from us.
She was a person of deep faith & read her bible often, before the disease made that fade. She would speak to the Lord daily with many prayers for her loved ones.
She was a special person that truly had a heart of gold—she will be terribly missed.
Godspeed & enjoy the reunion with your whole family & our Creator—they’ve been waiting on you with open arms…
I love you, mom—and will never forget your unconditional love & all that you did for me—my entire life. I know that you’ll always watch over us—I will miss you so…
