Lyle worked for many years as a carpenter and enjoyed this work. He enjoyed building large and small projects and was good at it.
Lyle is lovingly remembered by his children: Luna, Daniel, Brian (Shannon), Maureen (Ron) and Janelle. Lyle left a legacy of love with 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, he will be especially missed by his grandson Bruce whom he raised; Lyle is also remembered by his sister; Vesta Isaac and brothers; Louis and Joseph Taypotat.
Waiting to greet Lyle as he is welcomed home is his wife Yvonne Gilda; son Cameron Dwayne; parents; Mabel and Alfred Taypotat, siblings: Florence, Horace, Clarence, Albert, Clifford and George.
Viewing and lunch began at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Vesta’s home #198 Kahkewistahaw First Nation. Traditional Service at 2:00 p.m. with Elders Sam Isaac and Allan Delorme officiating. Interment in Kahkewistahaw Cemetery.
