Barbara was quick witted and had a deft sense of humor. We all knew her for what we jokingly called her “Barbara-isms.” She was a caring, helpful and a beloved neighbor of Jackson Heights for the last 60 years.
Barbara loved and cared for animals, by giving stray cats and dogs a loving home through the years. She was a passionate animal lover.
Loving mother of Sharon Kane Danaher (Jim) and her son Paul Kane. Her grandchildren Jimmy Danaher, Jack Danaher and Aidan Kane.
She is predeceased by her parents George McNair and Marion Flaherty McNair.
May she rest in peace.
A memorial service for Barbara will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Conway Funeral Home, 41-45 58th Street, Woodside, NY 11377.
