She was born in Tuscon, AZ on July 20, 1948. Her family moved shortly thereafter to Homestead, FL where she was raised and attended South Dade High School. With a 10th grade education Lindia enrolled in the Job Corp in New York and began an office clerical career until her marriage to John Biondi in North Miami, FL on September 26 1969.
Lindia worked as a home maker and provided child care services out of her home. She also volunteered outside of the home as a teacher’s assistant, homeroom mom, brownie & girl scout troop leader, softball team mom, & management of concessions at Pepper Park. In 1983 she re-entered the workforce, obtained her GED, and for 25 years held various clerical roles in the healthcare field including medical records departments of hospitals, data coordinator for a medical research company, & office administration for a long-term care facility.
She was creatively artistic and crafty with beautiful works of macramé, crochet, ceramic paintings, & sewing. She had a passion for animals & outdoor country living. In December 2007 she built her dream home in Grand Ridge, FL. She especially enjoyed 4-wheeling, horseback riding camping trips, and hosting family gatherings in her quaint country home.
She relocated to Canton, GA in November 2015 to reside with her daughter during a season of needed caregiving.
She is survived by her 2 daughters Diane Pellini & Karen Saladrigas, 3 grandchildren Lindsey Saladrigas, Hayley Saladrigas, & Vincent Pellini, 2 sisters Marilyn Cutrer & Paulette Phelps, and 4 brothers Robert Burns, Roland Burns, Doug Burns, & Brad Burns.
