Maria was born in the Philippines, where at 17 she fell in love with Henry F. Johnson, a United States Air Force man whom she was married to for over 23 years. She spent most of her life in Southern California, proudly serving as a campus supervisor at Brea Olinda High School for 20 years. Maria impacted the lives of countless and will be remembered by everyone she touched.
Maria is survived by her children Lisa Woods and Christopher Johnson; their respective spouses Julian and Amy; Maria’s seven grandchildren Chase (22), Bryce (20), Mariah (19), Jordan (18), Darienne (16), Spencer (14), and Tyson (13); her siblings Linda, Oscar, Sonny, Carol, and Luecricia; and several nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held from 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Friday, June 7, 2019, at McAulay & Wallace, 18311 Lemon Drive, Yorba Linda, CA 92886.
A Celebration of Maria’s life will start at 3:00pm on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at The Woods residence, 4326 Camphor Ave, Yorba Linda, CA 92886.
