John French

John French, of Lancaster, entered into rest on May 1, 2021 at age 94. Beloved husband of 71 years to Jeannette (nee Farnsworth) French; devoted father of Steven E. (Marilyn) French and Marsha E. (Daniel) Leuer; cherished grandfather of Travis (Lynn McNett) French, Jamie French, Kelly (Tony) Bisciotti, Kerry French, Chad (Jamie) Leuer, Elissa (Michael) Russell and Ashley Leuer; adored great-grandfather of Christian, Isabelle and Emily; loving son of the late John and Clara French; dear brother of the late Clara (late William) Rykert; also survived by loving nieces and nephews. John was a veteran of the US Army and served in both WWII and the Korean War. He retired from NFTA Metro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Bowmansville United Methodist Church, 5344 Genesee St., Bowmansville, on Friday (May 7, 2021) at 10AM.
