Phyllis worked as a secretary for the Greensboro Jaycees in North Carolina, Bigelow
in Greenville, as well as the Buncombe Street United Methodist Church in Greenville.
Phyllis was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina to the late Brice and Eva Moorhead Latham. She was the widow of Jerry Dellinger.
Phyllis was a graduate of T. L. Hanna High School in Anderson, South Carolina and attended Anderson College. In her youth, Phyllis enjoyed tennis, horseback riding and ice skating in Highlands, North Carolina.
She is survived by two sons, Greg (Mary Ann) Walkup of Williston, South Carolina and Eric Walkup of Summerfield, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Paul Walkup and Sallie Walkup both of Williston, South Carolina.
Graveside Services will be Friday, October 15, 2021, 1:00pm, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Anderson, South Carolina.
