History

Gilbert W. Danzer and his wife, Elizabeth Pfister Danzer, opened Danzer Funeral Home in 1963 to serve the families of Bowmansville and surrounding communities.

In 1999, Danzer Funeral Home merged with Dengler Funeral Home, which was founded in Buffalo in 1949. That same year, Dengler Funeral Home merged with George J. Roberts & Sons to become Dengler & Roberts Funeral Home. Since then, Danzer, Dengler & Roberts Funeral Home has been providing compassionate service to the community.
