Linda was one of the sweetest and kindest persons we’ve ever had the privilege to know.  Her kindness immediately put people at ease and her gentle nature was reflected in all she did.  She will be missed greatly by those who knew her.

What a lovely sweet lady Linda was. She was a blessing and I feel privileged to have known her. My sincere condolences Neal to you and your family. 

Linda was a sweet, gentle, soft spoken lady.  She was always friendly to everyone who knew her.  You could tell by her very demeanor that she loved the Lord.   I know she will be missed by us all.

Linda was one of those people you felt at home with the moment you met her. She was a kind, generous, loving soul that always had a smile for everyone. When I first saw her visiting First Baptist I was thrilled to have her and Neal become part of my church family again. I know God has already put her to work serving beside Him in Heaven.  Neal, I hope this brings a smile to your face and comfort to your weary heart. Praying for you and your dear family.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember the first time I saw Linda.  I thought she was so pretty with her dark hair and beautiful blue eyes.  Turns out after I got to know her she was really sweet also. 

I will always remember Linda's smile and kind spirit.  Anyone who saw the talent show at Fairmont Park Church can tell you, she had a stage presence.  Linda and Neal's impression of Linda Carter and Johnny Cash  was the highlight of the event.  She will be missed.


Dear Neal, being Linda's friend was so easy. We couldn’t have had a nicer, sweeter person in our life.  We truly enjoyed our lunches. When I took Linda to a movie she and I bawled our eyes out, I promised her I would check out the ending next time before we went, lol. She was so gentle and kind. We are 💔 over your loss. Having a true friend that I could share thoughts and feelings with has been so special. We  could always meet for a cup of tea and share. Linda has been my true Christian friend and prayer partner for over forty years. That special relationship will never be replaced. Walking through our home today I could see in every corner and shelf an angel or item (gift) that Linda had given to me. These will always remind me of her love.  Suzanne Crum

Linda was my husband's cousin and I would like to extend condolences to the family on our behalf. I know that Michael loved Linda and her family...and thought of her brother, Keith, as a brother. I pray that the family knows the kind of peace that only our Lord and Savior can provide and that it surpasses all understanding. I pray for God's speed for Linda on her journey home and the light she now has is more than she could have ever imagined in her wildest dreams. She is finally home.


I love you Aunt Linda. you will be missed  by many.. Aunt Linda I remember how you and my father would always talk on the phone. he would be telling you a story and I could here you say now Keith dont be doing that. I would chuckle. You always watched over my father like a mother to him. I know I will truely miss seeing your number come across the phone.  I will miss hearing your voice. You  will always be remembered my Aunt Linda love you.

Growing up as a kid ,I had the blessing of growing up on Bellshire and knowing the Peacocks.I remember Pumpkin in her TexAnn  out fit and how Beautiful she was.As the years past our paths crossed and had the blessing of seeing her and Neal at Church.I don't understand God's plan but I  know that in his Kingdom there is no more suffering .And I thank God everyday for his Mercy and Grace and the memories of  the  old neighborhood and our families.


Neal,  I am so sad and sorry to hear of the loss of Linda....aka our Punkin.  I am so glad that I have many memories of trips to the zoo when our kids were little and get togethers that we use to have playing cards at our houses and at Mema and Bop’s.   All of you are in my thoughts and prayers!  May God grant you peace that surpasses all understanding.  I am on social media with Greg and I just sent him her Eggplant Casserole Recipe in her honor.  After all these years it is still my favorite!  Hugs to all.  Love all of you!
