JoAnne Escalanta

She is survived by one son, Larry Escalanta and wife, Lori of Oologah, OK; two daughters, LeAnne Coward and husband, Mark of Mansfield and Sarah Zirbel and husband, Dan of Mansfield; a daughter-in-law, Melissa Escalanta of Tontitown; three sisters, Sondra Carter and husband, Jerry of Greenwood, Susie Butler of Greenwood and Cheryl Craig and husband, Larry of Greenwood; twelve grandchildren and their spouses, Ace (Sarah), Joshua (Brandy), Nathan (Ericka), Crystal (Garrett), DJ (Brittany), Trisha, Karla (John), Tiffani (Eric), Christopher (Lindsey), Darrick (Ashley), Cole, and Jessi (Colton); twenty-three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Lee Escalanta; her mother Wabane (Noyes) Elmore; one son, Gary Escalanta; her brother, Eddie Elmore and brother-in-law, Kenneth “Pete” Butler.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, July 1 at Greenwood First Baptist Church with inurnment at Huntington Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons.
