Maria is survived by daughter Magdalena Carmona; brother Simon Carmona and wife Soila, bother Julian Carmona and wife Ana, brother Mario Carmona and wife Rosa, brother Rodolfo Campos and wife Silvia, sister Maria Teresa Morales and husband Jesus who passed away, sister Maria Nicolasa Carmona, sister Maria Rosario Martinez and sister Candelaria Quezada; 21 nieces and 21 nephews.
Maria was preceded in death by mother Lucinda Campos and father Asencion Carmona; brother Antonio Carmona and his wife Francisca who she is survived by.
Maria was a fun person to be with. She loved watching TV (especially when her novelas came on), celebrating birthdays, and shopping. She enjoyed going out to eat at Apple Bee's and Chili's. Her family will remember her as the greatest baby sitter of all time as she was the one who always took care of everyone. Maria will be missed but the love that her friends and family have for her will always remain.
A visitation for Maria will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, Texas 77022. A rosary will occur Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, Texas 77022. A funeral mass will occur Friday, July 23, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Stephen's Catholic Church, 1912 Center St, Houston, Tx 77007. A committal service will occur Friday, July 23, 2021 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Historic Hollywood Cemetery, 3506 N Main St, Houston, Texas 77009.
