History

Bill Merritt opened his first funeral home in Bethany, Oklahoma, in 1932. He envisioned his funeral home would provide the best quality of care with honor and dignity. Mr. Merritt personally owned and operated the Bill Merritt Funeral Homes for 59 years.

Throughout the years, Mr. Merritt built a reputation on giving families the honor and dignity they deserve during a time of need. Mr. Merritt passed away in 1991, but his tradition of service still remains within our walls.
