Inspirational funerals in Carson City
Inspire us with your stories from life: grandchildren who meant everything, a penchant for pearls or endless hours spent in the garage working on project cars. We'll work to weave these memorable elements into a personalized service that resonates with all who attend.
Envision one final fishing tale for the avid angler, with an exhibition of photos featuring their largest catches. Imagine a baseball-themed tribute for the world’s biggest fan, with monogrammed keepsake novelty bats as gifts.
Exceptional service and compassionate care
At Fitzhenry’s Funeral Home, we have flexible space and creative talent to honor almost any final wish. Whether you choose a service with military honors, cremation with memorial service or a traditional religious funeral, our chapel welcomes guests from every walk of faith. It also adapts to accommodate large or small gatherings. Let us take care of the catering or prepare your family recipes, so you can spend more time with those who matter most.
Contact our Carson City funeral home
We serve families from Dayton to Glenbrook in a tradition dating to 1966. Please contact us if we may assist with funeral arrangements in Carson City, or if you would like to arrange a tour of our chapel.
Fitzhenry’s Funeral Home opened our doors in 1966, originally located on Highway 95 in Carson City, Nevada. Two decades later, we relocated to Edmonds Street, now known as Fairview Drive, to better serve our neighboring communities of Dayton, Indian Hills and Washoe City. In 1990, Fitzhenry’s opened a 2nd location in Gardnerville, Nevada, to better serve those seeking a funeral home near Lake Tahoe, Glenbrook, Topaz Lake and Genoa.
Today, we’re proud to be a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers. Through the decades, our staff remains committed to professional standards and a dedication to our community.
