    Stevie LeAnn Rodriguez

    Funeral Director

    Stevie Rodriguez is a veteran of the U.S. Army and a 2015 graduate of Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, Texas. While there, she maintained a 4.0 GPA and received the George H. Poston Memorial Award for skills in embalming and restorative art. After graduation, she moved to Raleigh where she completed her apprenticeship and gained her license with Brown-Wynne Funeral Home before coming to McLaurin Funeral Home in May 2017.

    Stevie is from Colorado and enjoys volunteering time to the community—particularly the Triangle Down Syndrome Network and the Frankie Lemmon School. She also enjoys running 5k's and obstacle course runs, snowboarding, hiking in the mountains and spending time with her family—her boyfriend, son and dogs, Australian Shepherd, "K," and Lab mix, Madam Kurie.

    Russell Talmage Thompson

    Funeral Director

    Russ entered the funeral industry in 2015 and serving families as a member of our team since July 2018. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland and attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He is currently licensed in the Commonwealth and in Washington D.C.

    With the passing of his father, Russ felt so strongly that he had something to offer families and left a successful sales career to serve families in their time of need. When he’s not working, Russ can usually be found riding or working on his motorcycles, hiking on the C & O Canal with his dogs or looking for abandoned buildings to photograph.

    LaDonna Marie Gilbert

    MGR Funeral Home Location

    LaDonna Gilbert received her bachelor’s degree in mortuary science from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. She has served as location manager since 2013 and is committed to providing the best service to families in and around the Falls Church area. LaDonna feels honored to help families plan their loved one’s celebration of life while ensuring that the process is made easier with the guidance of a dedicated funeral home team. She has learned that though people may forget what was said or what was done, they will never forget how you made them feel. For that reason, LaDonna works diligently with a heart filled with compassion to make moments matter for the families she serves.

    Carrie Hare has provided professional and compassionate funeral service to Northern Virginia families since 1999. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and son.

    Sarah Catherine Neal

    Funeral Director

    A native of Northern Virginia, Sarah Neal began her career in 2014 after graduating from John Tyler Community College with a degree in mortuary services. She joined our team in 2017 and has done her utmost to serve the families of Northern Virginia with professionalism and compassion. When not working, Sarah enjoys spending time with her fiancé and her fur baby, Porter the Boxer. She always enjoys visiting her extended family and traveling.
