A modern funeral home for all

Reception room at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial ParkThe beautiful, light-filled Spanish-style Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park opened in 1989. It was remodeled in 2016 to better meet the needs of today's Fort Myers-area families. We added contemporary lighting fixtures, flooring and furniture to create a vibrant atmosphere that feels like a luxury Florida resort. Our facility has 3 event rooms: The Floridian, the Magnolia and the Royal Poinciana.

Our smallest venue, the Floridian, features round tables with sea foam green and Caribbean blue tablecloths. The Magnolia is our medium-size venue. It also features brightly covered round tables and features a wall of wooden shelves where you can showcase a loved one’s photographs and beloved mementos. The Royal Poinciana is a premium venue with a variety of seating options, including overstuffed chairs and modern sofas reminiscent of those in a hotel lobby. The focal point of the room is a stone wall where you can display a casket or cremation urn.

On-site crematory

Not everyone knows that there are many cremation options. If you are interested in cremation, the funeral home team can explain the process, including the different memorial services, while the cemetery team can walk you through the various burial options. From a direct cremation without a service or a witness cremation to a full funeral service before or after the cremation and more, we help you understand this increasingly common choice.

For families who choose the time-honored tradition of cremation, our full-service funeral home has a private crematory on the property. This gives Hodges Funeral Home complete control of a cremation from start to finish and means your loved one never leaves our care. If you so choose, cremated remains may be buried at Lee Memorial Park.

Your trusted friend and neighbor

Only a few miles east of the I-75 corridor, Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park is located in the Buckingham area of eastern Fort Myers. In addition to Fort Myers residents, we serve people in Lehigh Acres, Gateway and surrounding Southwest Florida communities.

In 2007, we joined the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery providers. When you choose Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, you get compassionate care and service you can trust.

Cemetery grounds at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial ParkIn December 2016, Sunrise Garden opened at Lee Memorial Park. This meticulously groomed section of the cemetery features ground burial spaces with options for upright monuments and private hedge estates along a pathway lined with mature oak trees. At the center of the garden, cremation placement options surround a lively dolphin fountain.

Some sections and gardens of the cemetery are dedicated to certain groups and religions. For the Jewish faith, the Garden of David is set off by shrubbery in the front and cypress trees down the middle.
