    Born and raised in Ohio, Kristine first felt called to serve grieving families as a young teenager. In high school, she volunteered at a funeral home. She earned a bachelor's degree in interpersonal communication from Bowling Green State University and a mortuary science degree from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Today, as a licensed funeral director and embalmer, Kristine is committed to compassionately caring for each family while celebrating each life lived with dignity and honor.

    Kristine lives in Fairview with her husband and their 2 children. They are members of the First United Methodist Church in McKinney. Kristine is an accomplished pianist and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She makes a point to find blessings in each and every day—always looking on the bright side.

  • Abby Amy Deland

    Funeral Director

    Abigail has served families in the Dallas-Fort Worth area since 2014. She has held multiple roles in the funeral industry and has a wealth of experience with both traditional services and celebrations of life. When caring for a family's loved one, Abby strives to create a positive memory for that family to carry with them after the funeral service is over. Originally from central New York, Abby has lived in Texas long enough to develop an addiction to Tex-Mex. In her spare time, she enjoys reading classic sci-fi, spending time with her family and friends and searching far and wide for a bowl of queso with the perfect blend of spicy chili and smooth cheese.

  • Joe Donald Grimes

    Funeral Director

    Joe has served families in the Frisco area since earning his degree in funeral services in 2016. He enjoys his challenging yet rewarding role at the funeral home and hopes to serve many families in the years to come. Joe has lived in Frisco for more than 15 years and finds helping the community where he grew up extremely gratifying. In his spare time, Joe enjoys watching movies from his expansive film collection, roller-skating on weekends and spending time with friends and family.

  • Ken Lee Martin


    After serving in the military and spending 40-plus years in the corporate world at companies such as General Foods, Borden and Blockbuster, Ken chose a different path—one that would allow him to personally serve others during difficult times. After his father died a few years ago, Ken was so moved by the compassion shown to him by a funeral director, he changed careers. He first went to work as a pre-planning advisor, then he earned his funeral director license while managing Stonebriar Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Today, Ken enjoys creating personalized services that really celebrate the unique lives of loved ones. Ken has lived in the Frisco area for more than 25 years and raised his family as true Texans. He can be found chasing his cattle and his grandchildren whenever time allows and serves as a lay minister at his church.
