Elizabeth Townsley has worked with Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes since 2013, helping families celebrate lives through meaningful and personalized services. After graduating mortuary school at the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, she served her apprenticeship in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.
Now a Lansing resident she is an active member of the Jaycees and enjoys engaging with students interested in the funeral service profession. Outside of work, she and her husband enjoy traveling, cooking, running and exploring the Lansing area.
Rachel Ann Krish
Rachel has been serving families for Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes since 2015. Married since 1998 and originally from the Ovid-Elsie area, Rachel now resides in St. Johns, Michigan, with her husband and four children. Rachel believes her career as a funeral director is her calling and says, “I love what I do. I love serving our families and it really give me a sense of pride and honor to be able to sit with families during one of the most difficult times of their lives. These families become my family.” Knowing at a very young age this is what she wanted to do and after becoming a wife and a mother, she applied to Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Wheeling, Illinois in 2010. She moved to Chicago for a year and graduated with honors in 2011. After returning to Michigan and fulfilling the requirements, Rachel was offered a position as a licensed funeral director for Gorsline Runciman. Rachel is now serving families in the Lansing, East Lansing, Williamston, Mason and Dewitt areas. She has been involved in her community coaching soccer and softball and also volunteers with her children during the Mint Festival in St. Johns and the 4-H Clinton County Fair. She loves spending her spare time with her family whether it is camping up north, going to school sporting events, baking with the kids, going to the movies, or just relaxing at home.
Kenneth L Canady
For over two decades, Kenneth Canady has served the greater Lansing area of Michigan. Ken earned his bachelor's degree in mortuary science at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and joined the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home family in 2001.
Ken is the recipient of the Walter P. Cavalier award in embalming excellence. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Ken is involved with various civil organizations in his community and says, "God created me to help people.”
