Originally from Greensburg Indiana, Kaylyn moved to Louisville in 2008 to pursue a career in funeral directing. She started as a funeral director/embalmer and now is the location manager for Arch L. Heady at Resthaven funeral home.
Kaylyn is devoted to creating customized memorials for each family she serves. In Kaylyn's free time, you will find her in her wildflower gardens or enjoying the lake with her family.
Chris Lee Heady
Since 1987 Chris has provided compassionate care to families in the Louisville area. Chris earned his degree in mortuary science from Mid-America College of Funeral Service in 1988 and became a fourth-generation funeral director. He is proud to be a part of the Dignity Memorial® team, guiding you through one of the most personal times in life.
Chris is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Marine Corps League #729. He is also a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Prospect, Kentucky, and devotes a portion of his time to the North Oldham Middle School Booster Club.
Shelba Jean Barnes
Originally from Belleville, Indiana, Shelba moved to Louisville in 2014 to pursue a career in funeral service. She is a 2015 graduate of Mid-America College of Funeral Service and received her funeral director and embalmer license in 2017. A member of our team since 2018, Shelba is dedicated to serving the families in our community.
