Dennis Davison has been a funeral director and embalmer since 1979 and has been the location manager at Sunset Funeral Home since 2014. Before serving at Sunset, he managed a funeral home in Decatur, Illinois, for over 30 years. Wishing to provide continuing education for hospice organizations, Dennis completed courses on demystifying the funeral experience and funeral customs and rituals in 2017.
Dennis is past president of the Illinois Funeral Directors Association and a member of the Rockford Chamber of Commerce. Dennis and his wife live in Rockford, Illinois, and have five children and five grandchildren.
Amy Marie Heller
Amy became a part of our team in March 2018. She began her funeral service career while attending Worsham College, graduating in September 2013. Amy lives in Belvidere, where she spent her childhood. She enjoys fishing, camping and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephew.
Peter R Nichols
Holli has been serving families in the Rockford area since graduating from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in 2010 and has been with Sunset Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens since September 2015. Originally from Belvidere, she currently resides in Rockford and in her spare time Holli enjoys spending time with her family and walking her dog, Annie.
