With a large chapel and intimate gathering spaces, Ashburnham Funeral Home & Reception Centre welcomes services of all sizes. The Fireside suite can accommodate a traditional visitation, contemporary memorial visitation, reception or intimate funeral with up to 35 guests. The spacious Legacy room seats up to 72 guests for a catered reception. Tracey Ormond is our in-house chef. The owner of That's a Wrap Catering Company says her passion is people.

Cremation services include water cremation

Cremation is the preferred choice for many Canadian families. Ashburnham Funeral Home & Reception Centre provides compassionate cremation services, including water cremation, a process that uses water instead of flame. In 2020, Kawartha Aquamation became among the first businesses in Ontario to offer what some see as a gentler alternative. If you're interested in learning about water cremation, be sure to ask.
