    Joni Cooke

    General Manager

    Joni est directrice de funérailles accréditée chez Arthur Funeral Home depuis mai 1989, elle est devenue directrice générale en octobre 2015. Joni a servi les familles de Sault Ste. Marie et des régions avoisinantes avec passion, professionnalisme et compassion.

    L'implication dans la communauté est une priorité pour Joni. Ses deux fils sont son bonheur et si elle n'est pas à la maison funéraire, vous la trouverez certainement passant du temps avec sa famille et ses amis à sa maison près du lac.

    Ken Currie

    Manager

    Ken Currie was raised in Simcoe, Ontario. He moved to Sault Ste. Marie in January 1995 to complete his funeral service internship with Arthur and Barton & Kiteley Funeral Homes and remained here afterward. He became managing director in 2015 and is dedicated to his team and community.

    Ken is married with 2 sons. In his spare time, Ken enjoys soccer, golf and camping with family and friends.

    Kendall Ann Brule

    Funeral Director

    Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Kendall Brule began her career in funeral service in 2015 in a part-time capacity. She continued to pursue this profession at College Boreal, completing her internship and receiving her funeral director license in August 2018. In her spare time, Kendall enjoys her animals, horseback riding, hunting and fishing.

    Christian H. Dickie

    Funeral Director

    Born and raised in Parry Sound, Christian gained his first work experience at the local funeral home. He then completed the funeral services program at Humber College and apprenticed in Kirkland Lake, Ontario.

    Christian, his wife and 2 daughters relocated to Sault Ste. Marie after spending more than a decade working in Kingston as a licensed funeral director. He spends his free time in the winter at the arena enjoying his daughters play hockey and his summers are spent camping around Northeastern Ontario. Christian also keeps active by participating in the local men’s lacrosse league, playing hockey, hunting and fishing.

    Taylor Dawn Gilmar

    Funeral Director

    Taylor was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie. She joined the Barton & Kiteley Funeral Home team in 2010 as a high school co-op student. Taylor graduated from Humber College and received her funeral director's license in 2014.

    Zachary Byron Good

    Funeral Director

    Zachary began his career in funeral services in 2009, obtaining his funeral director’s license in 2012. He grew up on a farm near Desbarats and has served the Sault Ste. Marie Lions Club in many different capacities, including as president.

    Lise Joyal

    Funeral Director

    Née et ayant grandi dans le nord de l'Ontario, dans une petite ville, Lise est la plus jeune de huit enfants. Elle a étudié au Cambrian College, elle est diplômée des programmes « Law & Security » et de services funéraires. Étant une francophone pure laine, Lise est honorée de desservir la communauté franco-ontarienne de Sault Ste. Marie en communiquant avec eux dans leur langue natale. Durant son temps libre, Lise adore chasser.

    Kirsty Laidlaw

    Funeral Director

    Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, Kirsty Laidlaw immigrated to Canada in 1979. Raised in Sault Ste. Marie, she attended Humber College’s funeral service education program and became a licensed funeral director in 1997. Kirsty worked in the Toronto area until 2004, when she and her husband moved back to Sault Ste. Marie. In her spare time, she enjoys instructing spin class and volunteering at the local YMCA. Kirsty is also involved with the Multiple Sclerosis Society, acting as an advocate for others with MS after her own diagnosis in 2015.

    Debbie Jo Linklater

    Funeral Director

    Debbie Jo (née Rhodes) est directrice de funérailles chez Arthur and Barton & Kiteley Funeral Homes depuis plus de 30 ans. Elle habite à Sault Ste. Marie depuis toujours, elle est mariée et ils ont élevé trois merveilleux enfants. Elle est aussi « maman » de trois chats rescapés, Willow, Rupert et Princess. 

    Ayant appris l'importance de redonner à sa communauté, elle siège actuellement au comité de collectes de fonds pour la Veterans Commemorative Monument et siège au conseil du Crime Stoppers, the Drinking and Driving Awareness Committee et du Eastern Star. Passionnée de sports, Debbie Jo est active au sein du Sault Ringette Club depuis plus de 20 ans en tant que présidente et entraineuse, elle est aussi membre du Ontario Ringette Long Term Athlete Development Committee. Elle a été coprésidente des World Club Ringette Championships et présidente des Ontario U-12 Ringette Championships. Appelant Bethel Bible Chapel sa maison, Debbie Jo est bénévole l'été pour Camp ABK et donne un cours de cuisine chaque automne / hiver.

    William Kiteley


    Bill is the former owner of the Barton & Kiteley and Arthur Funeral Homes. He has been a licensed funeral director there since the mid 1960s and is still involved in day-to-day operations. He is married to the former Rosalind Cook from Bar River. They have 3 children and are proud grandparents of 6. Involved in many community activities, Bill has been a Rotarian since the 1970s and a longtime member of Keystone Masonic Lodge.
