We are so sad to hear of the passing of Howard but know he has found the peace and comfort he deserves. Howard brought so much happiness to Grandma in her final years, and we know they were true blessings and companions to each other.

We had the pleasure of visiting with Howard and Grandma in Amarillo, and we will always remember Howard with that big smile, positive attitude and great sense of humor.

We will keep you all in our prayers!

What an honor to have the opportunity to serve as pastors to such a wonderful man. Howard always had a big smile on his face and a positive attitude to go with that amazing smile! We always called each other “Cuz” because Billy’s mother and family are Sligers from the same community there in Ada/Owl Creek, Oklahoma.
What a wonderful Christian brother that we look forward to seeing again at the Gates of Heaven....He was an excellent door greeter at First Family Church....”First Assembly of God” 6101 S Bell Amarillo for years.....so I know he will be there waiting to greets us when we arrive. ♥️

Dear Linda, Jeff and Julie

Your Dad, Grandpa was Uncle Howard to me and what a fun Uncle. Always a big smile, hearty laugh, funny story or just some good natured teasing. Might be about
a clothing style or current song. Uncle Howard teased my sister and me about listening to the Beatles song: "She loves you yeah yeah yeah- " He would laugh and laugh and ask -Surely those guys could come up with some more words? Just funny and good natured teasing that would brighten a farm kids day. We so loved Uncle Howard , Aunt Alma, and Linda's visits. Making homemade ice cream for 4th of July and special candies at Christmas. Linda, do remember the trip to Palo Dura Canyon in your VW bug?
Much love and Hugs to ALL of you!
