Funeral Service for Connie Faye Spears, 54, of Anniston, will be held 2pm Wednesday, November 7th 2018 at Gray Brown- Service Mortuary with Bro. Richard Laird officiating. Burial will follow at Coldwater Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm at the funeral home. Ms. Spears passed away Saturday in Gadsden.
She is survived by her dog, Bubba. Although Connie outlived almost all of her family, she adopted more family along the way; sisters Christa Elomina (Rich Laird), Missy Pouge, and Valadee Johnston (Ronald); cousins Billy Entrekin and Heather Entrekin (Ben Clements); grandchildren Dallas Elomina, Breanna Clark, Hailey Snyder, Vanessa Signor, and Keegan Johnston; great-grandchild Raelynn Elomina; aunt Patsy Tolbert; sister in-law April Romine Van Horne; and she was an aunt to Ryan Landrum and Matt Abernathy.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Oliver Spears; and brother Ray Spears. Pallbearers will be Dallas Elomina, Jake Ankerich, Keegan Johnston, Shane Thompson, Lonnie Bailey, Ron Johnston, Wesley Pouge, and Yuill Signor.
Connie was a very giving and loving individual for her friends and family. She dedicated her life to caring for her friends and family as well as her beloved dog, Bubba.
