Graveside services for Jasper Levelle Robinett, 87 of Anniston will be 2:30 pm, Friday, April 13, 2018 at Edgemont Cemetery with Rev. Don Hamilton officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:00 pm prior to the service at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary.
Mr. Robinett was a resident of Calhoun Calhoun all of his life. He passed away at Diversified Health after several complications with his health on April 10, 2018, and would have been 88 years old on May 11.
He was a veteran of the US Navy and US Army. He worked at M & H Valve Company for 24 years, then worked off-shore until retiring at age 62. Since retirement, he has been an active member and officer of The American Legion, VFW and Moose Lodge. He was an avid Auburn fan and loved to cook.
Mr. Robinett is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Maggie Robinett; his brothers, Monroe, Charles and Wayne and the mother of his sons, Della Mae Mitchell Robinett.
He is survived by his two sons, Dennis Robinett (Rita) and Derek Robinett (Diane); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Jeff Kines, Adam Robinett, Shane Robinett, Bradley Crenshaw, Andrew Nelson and Parker Nelson.
