Brenda Carol Branton

She was born on June 2, 1947, in Apex, NC, to the late Woodrow and Bonnie Walker. She loved spending time with her dogs; Bonnie, Angel, Meagan, Holly, and J.R. Her passion was spending time in the kitchen and in the garden.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, S. J. and Richard Cook; and sister, Naomi Goodwin.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 34 years, Jerry Branton; daugther, Rhonda Seagroves and husband Marty; stepson, Ronnie Branton; granddaughter, Krystal Brumfield and husband Donald; and great grandchildren, Noah and Kaylee Brumfield.

Brenda’s graveside service will be on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, 11 AM, at Olive Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, 600 Olive Chapel Road, Apex, NC 27502.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Heartland Hospice, 4505 Falls of Neuse Rd. Suite 650, Raleigh, NC 27609, in Brenda’s memory.
